Today we are going to discuss the recipe of samosas. As you all know samosa is favorite among kids and I know it takes time to cook but tastes very good so it's worth it. It is not so hard to make and it can be made easily at home. You can also make chutney at home with which you can serve them. It tastes very good and tempting and so kids love it very much.

 

 

 

 

 

 What is samosa? Samosa is a deep-fried cone filled with spiced stuffing (it's usually made with potatoes, peas, spices, and herbs). But nowadays people have started making it in different ways. People like to fill different types of filling in it. But potato filling is best and archaic so we make it 

 

samosas have their different taste. It's a very popular snack in north India, most people like to eat it for breakfast. It tastes so good that it will fill your stomach but you can't control your cravings for it.

 

Ingredients:-

 

* refined Oil/ ghee

* Carom seeds

* Ginger and green chilies

* 2-3 potatoes

* 1 cup green peas

* Black pepper

* Fennel seeds

* Maida

* Salt

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Process:-

 

 

Now we are going to share the best, samosa recipe. So let's start with making stuffing take a pan and add 1-2 tbsp oil in it add around ½teaspoon carom seeds in it and finely chopped ginger and green chilies. Now cut potatoes for samosa. Now also add crushed coriander. I can now get the aroma.

 

You have added less amount of carom seeds in filling Because it will go in the dough also. Ginger has released the water Now, add potatoes. Now what we have to do is… Do not touch the potatoes, let them get the color. Now add ½ teaspoon of Black pepper. And now add 1 cup of green peas it will enhance the taste of filling and I ensure that children going to love it if you are making for them.

 

Now cook it for around 9-10 mins on high flame after that turn off the flame. Let me put it in the fridge to cool down. Whole spices should be visible, that cumin, the coriander, the fennel seeds. 

 

Now let's start preparing for the dough. So normally we can add 2-3 cups of flour, add ghee around 2 tbsp. Add Ice water and the dough will become nice and tight. Chilled water. Perfect. Do not overwork the dough, it will lose it' s flakiness. Roll it lengthwise.

 

And another important thing, when you shape it, allow it to rest. Now let's start making our samosas It is very simple to make it, hold it inside out. stretch very lightly, brush some water on the edges, fold in the edges by overlapping on each other. After that, make a cone shape, and rest it between your finger and thumb. 

 

Now take the potatoes, stuff them in the samosas, and push lightly. Don't push too much, but push inside, take another side and overlap on each other. overlap it and again make it sit. It is not so difficult. 

 

Oil to be medium hot. If there are blisters, the temperature of the oil is more than required. Now deep fry the samosas and fry it until it' s color turn into a golden brown make sure that you won't overcook it.
