Today we are going to discuss the recipe of chilli potato dry. As you all know chilli potato is favourite among kids and it is not so hard to make and it can be made in less time You can also make it at home very easily and it tastes very good and tempting and so kids love it very much



Ingredients:-

 

* 2-3 potatoes

* 3-4 tbs cornflour

* Kashmiri chili powder/food color

* 2-3 tbs oil

* Ginger, garlic, green chilies

* Onions, capsicum

* Soya sauce, chili sauce, vinegar

* Tomato ketchup

* 2 tbs Salt 


Process:-

1. let's see how to make the potato chili dry now. To make this we first need 2-3 large sized potatoes, you've to peeled and washed it and cut it too lengthy pieces and soaked them in water. We should soak them for 10 min so that little starch from it goes off.


2. After washing them well, drain it, and then fry it. It should be cut to pieces little thicker than those cut for french fries or else it will shrink In a bowl, take 3tbsp cornflour. Now we shall add little salt which enhances the taste to french fries.

3. Then add 1tsp Kashmiri chili powder. This is optional. I like it this way because it gives color to the dish too. You can replace it with food color if you want. You can even avoid the spice if you want..

 4. Now mix it well and add the drained potato fingers. Mix well without any water. It's just for frying. Let's keep this aside for 10mins

6. Now we shall prepare the sauce. Let's heat a Kadai for that and add little oil in it. Heat the pan on high flame. Add 1tbsp chopped garlic, 1tsp chopped ginger, Add 4 split green chilies, Add 1/2 cubed onion, Add 1/4 cubed capsicum.

7. Keep all the sauces like tomato, soya, chili, vinegar, salt, and sugar near to you. So that we make our sauce fast. The raw tastes have gone. 1st add 2tbsp chili sauce, 2 tsp dark soya sauce. Now add 2tbsp tomato ketchup. Then add 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp salt.

8. Add little water to this. Around 1/2 glass hot water. We shouldn't make it too gravy. This is just to coat our potatoes. We can know the taste when served hot. Now we shall taste it lastly and add little cornflour for the laziness and texture. You can also use 1 tbs sugar to balance its taste.

9. Now add the potato fries into the sauce. Mix well but slowly. This should be served hot. Now turned off the flame. Now we shall garnish with spring onions and white sesame seeds. Hope everybody liked it.
